I was born and raised in Campbell River, and have enjoyed all that this beautiful area has to offer since I can remember. I have been fishing too many times to count. It doesn't matter if it is river, lake, or ocean fishing; I enjoy them all. Give me a rod, hook and line..... I'm there.

In 1988, my parents became owners of the Campbell River Fishing Village, and my destiny became a reality. I had the world famous salmon grounds at my fingertips. I was immersed in the fishing industry. l spent endless hours watching fish coming in, being weighed, and cleaned, all the while taking any opportunity to go out fishing myself.

Then, in 1999, I began taking clients fishing, and was able to attach guide to my name. I was the lead guide for 6 seasons until my parents sold the business in the fall of 2004. My passion for fishing didn't stop there, I guided for the new owners and for other local businesses when they were short a guide.

Now, I am moving forward, and beginning my own adventure. I decided that with all of my fishing expertise, I would give guided fishing charters a go, and Fish Fear Me Charters was born. I inherited this name over the years because of the disbelief people had when they saw my abilities at catching fish. People were sure if the fish knew I was in the area, they would be swimming in the opposite direction. Lucky for me... they don't!
